Humble Bundle Update
While I have already talked about Humble Bundle V in a previous post. We have an update on this frankly fantastic bundle. Now not only do you get Bastion if you beat the average purchase price which is now about $8 you also get Super Meat Boy, Braid and Lone Survivor making this bundle, I would say the greatest one that has been released so far, and I am talking out of the numerous different bundles and not just Humble. You will be essentially be paying $1 per game minimum to get all 8 games now included. Saving nearly $150 should you buy these games separately at retail price. Not to mention you will helping out a good cause with some profits going to both EFF and Childs Play charities. If you haven't already got this bundle there should be nothing stopping you getting it now. It's $8, just over £5 for 8 great games.

Just a little update.
So I've finally found myself a job, I started yesterday and due to the location, work hours and not too brilliant internet service. I won't be posting as much as I have been as I can't really spent all day reading the entire internet which was pretty my what I did most days when I was unemployed, well I could but I'm sure my boss wouldn't be too happy with me arsing about on the internet instead of doing my job. I will try and post something whenever I get the chance to so I might end up with a weekly update or something rather than trying to post something most days like I have been up until now. Also I have bought a domain name for the site finally, so you can now find my blog at playeronegaming.net or you can just keep on using the previous blogger address if you really want to.

Nuclear Dawn Update On The Way
The guys at Interwave have another update for Nuclear Dawn heading our way. This update adds a bunch of cool new features such as giving the commander to set a default spawn area, giving the Support engineers ammo packs which will allow them to keep there team mates supplied on the front line. I can see this being especially helpful in the early goings of a match. There are a number of updates to the latest map Oilfield as well. For full details on the update you can check out the changelog.

New Map for Nuclear Dawn
Nuclear Dawn is a cool little game and has recently got another update which includes the addition of a FOV slider in the options and a bunch bug fixes which can be found in the changelog. We will also be seeing a new map with patch 5.2 under the name of Oilfield (there are a few screenshots of the new map under the changelog for those interested). The map is in a now open beta form for everyone to play and test. Hopefully there will only be minor bugs to get rid of which won't interfere with gameplay all that much. Just a short and sweet update of what's happening with this game. Now I'm off to play it.

Payday: The Heist - Patch 3
The guys at Overkill have released another patch for Payday: The Heist. Below are the details, biggest new features being Normal mode for Diamond Heist and Slaughterhouse, the ability to join games that have already started and new masks. Also I am still getting round to writing up my thoughts on this game. I'm lazy what can I tell you.
The PAYDAY Xmas update!
Thanks to all you players who have robbed countless banks, snuck off with thousands of diamonds and scooped up gold bars by the tonnes!
OVERKILL Software has monitored you closely through the security cameras and here are our counter measures:
PAYDAY Xmas achievement!
Find a Christmas present on any of the levels in multiplayer - take it and you will be given a Santa mask! Plus you will get the chance to be surprised later on...
Big features
Player drop-in ability in load-out and in-game!
You can now join an ongoing game! You will no longer be locked out of games just because they have already started or because you dropped out during play. Just rejoin and continue collecting those precious dollars and gems!
These are the rules: Players who are downed or in custody and drop out only to rejoin the same game will respawn in custody. Drop-in is disabled during the "point of no return" phase of the heist, as well as on the end screen.
Heavily improved fighting and acting by team AI and enemies
New features and fixes include:
• New events and enemy tactics on all levels
• Team and enemies now pick better cover and firing positions, and use more intelligent firing lanes for suppression and sniping
• Enemies now master additional acrobatic moves (such as dashes and slides) and they can fire at you while doing them!
• More cover moves for team AI and enemies
• Enemy AI move in tighter formations and coordinate better
• Team AI now keeps up with human players much better
• Smoother turn and aim on team AI, and reduced animation glitches on movements
• Better looking weapon recoils on team and enemies
• AI teammates now pick weapons that better suit the current combat situation
• Combat will now be more mid ranged and not run-in gun battles
• Team AI no longer has "ants in the pants" (they don't move around so much) when there are no enemies around
Advanced GFX settings menu (AG menu)
Custom visual settings and optimizations, including:
• Texture resolution setting "low" to "high"
• Texture filtering "off" and up to x16
• V-synch on/off
• AA on/off
• Light streaks on/off
• Animation level-of-detail setting for better performance
• More suitable default resolutions to fit laptops etc.
• AlienwareFX on/off (for Alienware computers)
• Added eight color grade filters (inspired by a range of heist and action movies)
"Payday +"
"Dinero"
"In Traffic"
"Bastard"
"BHD"
"Xgen Brown"
"Future of Gaming"
"The Matrices"
New masks
To celebrate that yet another bunch of military shooters was released recently, we've added four new masks to Payday!
Improved network code
Disclaimer: We did not fix the Internet. Please talk to Al Gore about that.
We've added a red toothbrush to Panic Room, and we've made sure this one's worth the hullabaloo!
